The Missouri Hemp Association LLC has announced a collaboration with Bela Vida Nurseries, Inc. Through the collaboration, MHA and Bela Vida will be working to research and develop hemp genetics, as well as working on propagation, planting, and harvesting techniques. The mutual goal of the collaboration is to further develop the hemp industry in the state of Missouri and beyond and to help farmers be successful.
Bela Vida is a large-scale greenhouse facility based out of Harrisonville, Missouri. Their facilities are ranked in the top 20 in the United States, with over 1.5 million square feet of greenhouse space across four locations throughout the Midwest.
“The MHA team is excited for the opportunity to work in Bela Vida’s greenhouse facility,” said Corey Plank, Research Manager for the MHA. “Together we will be growing and testing premium hemp genetics and generating good data for all of our members.”
MHA and Bela Vida will be working throughout the summer and fall on this collaboration agreement and will share updates as they become available. Questions can be directed to the MHA office at (573) 416-0273.
