Allen Freeman of the Missouri Department of Agriculture will join Joe Zahner of the Missouri Hemp Association to discuss “Hemp Registration and Permitting in Missouri, the U.S., and the Heartland” during the upcoming hemp classic.
“We are grateful that Allen is willing to join us to discuss registration and permitting with our attendees,” said Bill Cook, MHA Executive Director. “This topic is the most important thing for our growers to get lined out if they want to grow hemp in 2020, and having Allen and Joe team up on the subject will be a great benefit.”
Allen serves as the Hemp Program Administrator for the MDA, and has been vital to the state in getting the rules and regulations for 2020 lined out. Joe serves as Counsel for the Missouri Hemp Association, and helps MHA members understand both the legal aspects of growing hemp, as well as the agronomic side.
Allen and Joe are tentatively set to present during the public event on January 16th at 2:30 p.m. Those interested in attending are encouraged to sign up soon, as seating is limited. Additionally, those registered after January 7th are not guaranteed a meal with their registration.
